Are Influencers Gone Wild Harming Their Own Mental Health?

Lately, a lot of influencers who go “wild” online—posting chaotic content, constant drama, or extremely personal moments—seem to end up struggling with their mental health. Some admit they feel trapped in their online persona, while others say the pressure to stay relevant pushes them into unhealthy behaviour.

It makes me wonder: are influencers damaging their mental health by chasing attention? Going viral often means losing privacy, dealing with hate comments, and constantly performing for an audience. Yet the wilder the content, the more attention it gets.

I’ve seen breakdowns on https://www.influencersgonewildco.uk/
about how some creators spiral, but I’d really like to know what everyday users think. Are these influencers hurting themselves without realising? Do viewers play a role in encouraging the behaviour by rewarding drama with likes and shares?

Or is this just the reality of online fame now, and influencers need stronger boundaries?
