Which designs or colors indicate genuine Patola sarees?

I'm browsing through Patola Saree Design for an upcoming event and would really appreciate advice. The designs are really nice-looking, but the price range is apparently high. How does one distinguish between the original Patola sarees and the printed ones? Are there characteristic designs or combinations of colors that can help one pick the right one?
