How do homeowners simplify choosing a kitchen sink?
I am in the middle of a remodel and finding that choosing a kitchen sink is more complicated than I expected. There are so many options now that it feels easy to make the wrong decision. Size, depth, material, and bowl style all seem important, but I am not sure which ones actually matter in daily use.
When choosing a kitchen sink, do you start with how you cook or how much space you have? Is a single large bowl better than a double bowl for everyday dishes? How deep is too deep before it becomes uncomfortable? I am also unsure about materials. Does stainless steel really hold up best, or are granite and fireclay worth the extra cost?
Another thing I keep thinking about is noise and maintenance. Are some sinks noticeably louder? Do darker sinks show water spots more easily? For those who have already gone through choosing a kitchen sink, what do you wish you had known earlier?
If you were choosing a kitchen sink again today, would you pick the same style or change it? Any advice or real life experience would really help before I make a final decision.
