How Should Someone New Approach Learning About Thiripala Surunam?

I’m starting this discussion because I think many people new to Ayurveda face the same challenge I did, figuring out how to properly understand traditional formulations before forming an opinion. Thiripala surunam is mentioned quite often across forums and blogs, yet the guidance around it feels scattered.

One thing that stands out is that experienced voices rarely talk about it in isolation. They usually connect it with daily routine, food habits, and long-term consistency. This makes me wonder whether beginners sometimes misunderstand its role by expecting quick or noticeable changes.

Another question I have is about learning sources. With so much information online, how do you decide which explanations are reliable and which are just surface-level summaries? Do you trust classical references, practitioner guidance, or personal experiences shared in forums?

I’d really like to hear from people who took time to study it before trying anything. What helped you understand its traditional purpose? Was it reading detailed articles, speaking to practitioners, or simply observing how your body responded over time?

Looking forward to a thoughtful discussion rather than quick opinions.
