To all the veteran programmers out there, how are your eyes holding up after years of staring at a screen?

I’ve been working as a computer programmer since 2018, but I’ve actually been wearing eyeglasses since 2021. So you can imagine how important eye health is for me, especially now that most of my work involves staring at a screen for hours every day.

When I recently reunited with a college friend in Singapore, he recommended that I start taking eye supplements to help support my vision. He even joked that I really need to take extra care of my eyes because of the nature of our work.

But honestly, deep inside, I kind of envy him a little. He still doesn’t wear eyeglasses! Maybe those eye supplements he’s been taking are actually working. 😅
