Best Practices for Organizing Technical Documentation and Tutorials?

Hi everyone,

I'm working on documentation for a website that publishes technical tutorials, and I'm trying to improve the way information is organized so it's easier for readers to follow.

For those who write API or developer documentation, what structure do you usually recommend? Do you prefer step-by-step guides, quick-start sections, troubleshooting pages, or a combination of all three?

I've noticed that clear screenshots, concise explanations, and a dedicated troubleshooting section make a big difference, but I'd love to hear what has worked best for your projects.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
